ROCKIN FOR A CURE is the dream of Steve Weekes, who came up with the idea while in the waiting room of

Steve began work on the project and enlisted the help of long-time friends from
Wall of Sound and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps.

Madison Scouts Alumni Reunion Steve Weekes

Event Details:

Doors open 6:30 p.m.
Music begins at 7:00 p.m.

MUSIC:

All That Jazz

From the start, the band’s priority has been to get together a few times a month and capture the swing sound of the true American Big Band. With every dance and concert, All That Jazz proves what its musicians have learned in rehearsal - there is no better way to experience the Big Band sound than a live performance.

Don Navis Band - Hot Cross Bones

Hot Cross Bones was founded in 1996 in Madison, Wisconsin, as an ensemble dedicated to redefining the boundaries of music arranging, and performing music which features the passion and fire of the trombone. Most of the arrangements played by HCB were written by members of the group, and are specifically designed to highlight the trombone in ways not typically heard in traditional settings. Covering a broad range of musical styles, performing as a brass ensemble or with full rhythm section, Hot Cross Bones strives to present a product which is at times exciting, at times inspiring, and always fun.
